Would you like to concept and design games played by millions of players daily around the world? In Finland, we are looking for an experienced Game Designer to work on innovative online and mobile projects.
Job Description:
Your role is to design games for online and mobile platforms played by millions of users. You work as a part of a development team, nurturing and creating the game vision and design, analyzing metrics of live products, and communicating with programmers, artists and management. You are a lateral thinker and can act under pressure.
An ideal candidate will have:
Experience of designing and developing applications for the Facebook platform.
Understanding of key business metrics and how they are leveraged for design tasks in the live service process - carrying out \"Design by analytics\" in cooperation with team members.
Knowledge of social and viral mechanics and how they contribute to acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Up-to-date knowledge of popular social and mobile games
Knowledge of designing system mechanics, such as player control, NPC/AI characters, behavior and moves.
Passion to create fun games for different platforms and audiences.
Analytical, creative and lateral mind.
The ability to document and visualize ideas and concepts.
The skill to communicate very clearly in English, both in speech and in writing.

Skills that will be considered a definite plus:
Math skills that enable designing virtual economies.
Launched social games in Facebook with exceptional reviews & metrics.
Broad knowledge of video games, along with traditional board, card and dice games.
MBA degree
Main responsibilities are:
Game designing from high concept to implementation, completion and updates.
Creating, producing and polishing fun gameplay content.
Creating and maintaining viable virtual economies that monetize.
Working with product managers, developers and artists to review product performance, making metrics-driven decisions regarding improving the fun factor of the game, and overseeing implementation of features and systems.
